Kodie Dutcher was last seen during the afternoon of July 6, 2020, before being reported missing in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Local law enforcement began searching, joined by emergency personnel, the Baraboo Fire Department, and K-9 teams from Wisconsin Dells. Responders checked surrounding locations and followed information that might lead them to the child. The effort began with the hope of bringing her home safely. Authorities later confirmed that her body had been located nearby.
The supplied account does not establish a cause of death, and the discovery alone cannot explain the circumstances surrounding her loss. Those questions require verified evidence, not assumptions. For Kodie’s family, friends, and those who searched, the outcome brought profound grief. This was a July 2020 case, not a current missing-child emergency. Keeping that chronology clear—and respecting what remains unconfirmed in the report—is essential to remembering a young life without turning tragedy into speculation.
